About the Role
This is a hybrid role at the intersection of product knowledge and business growth. You will identify the right businesses, start conversations, deliver live product demonstrations, and carry prospects all the way through to confirmed, onboarded customers. Then you stay close — monitoring their early experience, ensuring adoption, and stepping in before problems become churn. We are looking for someone who can read a business owner's needs before they articulate them, translate those needs into a compelling product walkthrough, and build the kind of relationship that makes customers stay. Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Research
- Research and identify high-potential SME prospects across target sectors in Nigeria
- Build and maintain a structured pipeline of businesses and decision-makers
- Reach out via calls, WhatsApp and email to open and warm qualified conversations
- Qualify prospects against the Opsuite ideal customer profile before advancing to demo
Product Demonstrations
- Deliver live, tailored product demonstrations to business owners and decision-makers
- Map the prospect's specific operations to relevant Opsuite features during every demo
- Handle objections clearly, answer product questions and follow up with targeted information
- Run free trial activations and guide prospects through their first platform experience
Onboarding & Customer Lifecycle
- Own the customer journey from trial activation through to confirmed subscription
- Conduct structured check-ins during the early lifecycle to drive platform adoption
- Monitor customer health and act early to address friction or prevent churn
- Gather product feedback from active customers and relay structured insight to the product team
Growth Operations
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all pipeline activity in the CRM
- Meet weekly and monthly acquisition, demo and activation targets
- Contribute to campaign ideas, activation initiatives and market feedback loops
- Stay current on Opsuite product updates, SME trends and competitor positioning
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Confident, clear communicator — comfortable engaging business owners and holding a room during a live demo
- Strong working knowledge of how SMEs operate (retail, food, fashion, services, etc.)
- Highly organised and self-directed; able to manage a pipeline without daily supervision
- Tech-savvy; picks up new software quickly and can explain it simply to non-technical users
- Comfortable with performance targets and weekly accountability reviews
Nice to Have
- Experience in SaaS sales, business development or customer success
- Prior experience delivering product demonstrations or training sessions
- Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales workflows
